High Temp Exhaust
Many high performance coatings claim to be capable of operating at high temperatures. Most coatings, however, fail as temperatures exceed 1000°F. All of our high temperature Ultra Performance Coatings are stable up to 2000°F. Our high temperature line consists of two high quality formulations, the Chromex series and the Ultra Performance Satin Metallic series.
Chromex Series:
The Chromex series of high temperature coatings provide a highly polished, chrom-like finish that withstands high heat oxidation, while protecting the metal substrate. This ceramic coating provides thermal stability along with flexibility, exellent adhesion, and superior corrosion resistance.
Ultra Performance satin metallic series:
There is no other conventionally applied coating that matches the performance of our Ultra Performance Satin Metallic coatings. These coatings are vastly superior to high temperature silicone and aluminium ceramic coatings. As extreme temperatures are reached, the Ultra Performance coating will flux. This fluxing takes the nature of the unique ceramic backbone found in the Ultra Performance Satin Metallics and makes it harder and more abrasion resistant. This varies greatly from that of most silicone coatings, which generally chalk and loose adhesion at constant extreme temperatures.
Available in several metallized finishes, these coatings will not only give and attractive look but also works as a perfect thermal barrier that increases performance and horsepower by increasing heat scavenging during the exhaust cycle. Our coatings has shown lower radiant temperature between 400-600°F.

Exhaust systems
Marine and aircraft systems
Corrosive or solvent environments
Internal equipment

Thermal Barrier Piston
Coating
Piston Coat is specifically designed to provide thermal barrier protection for piston domes, the corresponding combustion chambers, and valve faces. This specialized formulation withstands detonation impact while reducing surface temperatures and increasing combustion chamber efficiency.
We use Piston Coat also as an inside coat for exhaust systems to increases exhaust gas velocity as well as a heat transfer reduction that will lower radiant temperature to increases performance and horsepower.
Recommended uses for Piston Coat:
Thermal barrier
Piston domes and corresponding combustion chambers
Valve faces
Inside/outside exhaust pipes
Turbo chargers
Thin film
Firewall head shield

Solid (Dry) Film
Lubricants
Micro Slick is a solid (dry) film lubricant designed to withstand high temperatures and extreme pressures. This coating lubricates, resists wear, and acts as an anti-seize agent while preventing galvanic corrosion.
With its unique composition, Micro Slick is virtually unaffected by temperatures ranging between 800-1200°F.Retaining excellent coefficient of friction where most solid (dry)film lubricants fail, Micro Slick’s formulation prevents surface-to-surface contact, thus reducing friction and wear between mating surfaces.
The exceptionally high shear resistance of Micro Slick enables surface to operate at extremely low friction.
Recommended uses:
Piston skirts
Cylinders
Bushings
Valve stems
Hydraulic ram
Hinge pins
Crank shafts

Firearm Coating
With a unique ceramic backbone, Cerakote™ Firearm Coatings improve performance and reliability over conventional finishes. This state-of-the-art coating technology out-performs any competitive coating in both laboratory settings and real world applications.
Cerakote™ Firearm Coatings can be applied using a simple HVLP gun or an automated electrostatic system for OEM scale applications. Single or multiple coats may be used to achieve unlimited finishes and designs. Additionally, private label and exclusive color agreements are available.
The unique formulation used for Cerakote™ Firearm Coatings enhances a number of physical performance properties. Each of these properties is rigorously tested to guarantee that Cerakote™ products remain at the forefront of the firearm coatings market. To prove Cerakote™ is the leading firearm coating, NIC hired an independent military testing facility to perform a blind side by side comparison between Cerakote™, KG Gun-Kote (listed as competitor 1) and DuraCoat Firearm Finish (listed as competitor 2). In every test Cerakote™ out performed both competitors products.
